A speaker, Jackie Fillingim, came to speak to science classes at Lithia Springs High School about the ethics of eating animals and animal products. She discussed the modern meat industry and the effects it has on human health and the environment. She also provided information for students about transitioning to a healthy plant-based diet.

The blood drive is a HOSA sponsored event that will take place September 20, 2017. Be sure, those who have signed up, have received your time card and eat well and drink plenty of water! If you have not received your time card, see Mrs. Vinsant in B211.
